April 1 isn't just the territory of pranks and jokes, but also the beginning of a brand new fiscal year, and Square Enix made the previously-announced restructuring of its business divisions effective.
The earnings reports of Capcom's Fiscal year 2024 showcase the growth of PC over console, with 60% of game sales being made on the former.
What’s interesting is that, given how well their games sell, it’s very likely most of them fall into the 25/75 revenue split bracket. The larger ones, like Monster Hunter, are in the 20/80 bracket.
So even accounting for the vastly superior regional pricing on PC, I wouldn’t be surprised if revenue-wise from digital sales, both platforms are close, or if PC is ahead as well.
Yes PC is the biggest platform and it has definitely improved as a home console of sort plug and play. It's the only platform with actual freedom for gamers with modding. I was a console gamer for over 38 years and now I only play on Pc. Whether you are buying pre-built or building it yourself it's now easier than ever before to jump in
And my experience with pc gamers has been excellent, they are helpful with any questions on pc boards
Build a Rocket Boy, the developer behind the upcoming action-adventure game MindsEye, has been accused of fostering a toxic work environment.
Well we already know where the review scores are going to be for this one. Who knows how his game is going to be but the narrative has been set and everybody is running with it so expect some pretty low reviews.
This is definitely not a day one for me and I'll wait for it to go on sale one day. Which probably won't be too long LOL.
This game releases in 13 days and we still don't really have a clear idea on what it is exactly. Everytime a game releases without some extended gameplay to show us what the actual loop looks like it turns out they were hiding a turd. I hope im wrong, we could use more urban open world games to at least give us something other than GTA alone, but the marketing for this game is weird
Culture in work environment should be good and fair to everyone.
But Hope this game is good and sells well so companies can invest in more single player titles, can do without anymore live service trash.
The Witcher 3 released a special item for its 10th anniversary, and it's hopefully a sneak peek at The Witcher 4's launch plans.
The "New Wild Hunt Release" that they are referring to are the controllers, and wanting to see more stuff like special edition controllers for The Witcher 4.

Good I’m tired of them putting most of the workload on one guy. A huge project like this could use multiple directors
This game is never coming out lol and i bet the next gen game they are working on is a cross gen version of final fantasy 7 remake
The new project seems related to the survey about new mmorpg last year
Naoki Yoshida working on a a next gen game has me hyped. FF14 is criminally underrated by FF fans and has the best story and character development seen in FF for over a decade. He's earned a new project even if it will mean FF14 suffers as a result. Hopefully he's working on FF16.
