SMB VR (Super Mario Bros VR) is a fan made VR game that allows you to step into the shoes of Nintendo’s famous plumber and experience level 1-1 in first person!

There is definitely potential here with this Homebrew. If Nintendo ever does Super Mario Bros VR, it's going to be amazing.

But somehow I think Nintendo will do what Astrobot, Moss, Lucky Tales, etc did. Which is third person with a controller. First person is cool but isn't intuitive and is hard to see above you as we see here.

Good concept though.

for platformers, definitely going the way of Lucky's Tale, Moss and Astrobot is the way to go.

Yeah Nintendo would likely go the third person route. Although they did do the Mario Kart VR in first person, so I guess we can't be 100% sure.

This video also makes me want Mirror's Edge to come back as a VR game.
