A lady butterfly and a man on a massive horse are currently taking turns to kick the shite out of me. So, it’s going okay, I guess.

With lady butterfly just spam whirlwind slash, for the horse guy learn to block him up close and throw some firecrackers to scare his horse.

Great review! I didn't think they existed anymore.

Yeah, it was a good review. I enjoyed reading it. And I agree with them that Sekiro is a special game. Personally, it's my favorite From Software game so far, and that's saying a lot because they're all brilliant. The combat is faster, tighter, more fluid and more skill based. It captures the feeling of clashing katanas in bladed combat from the samurai and ninja films I watched growing up better than any game before it.

I also find the animations and overall movement and traversal are smoother and offer a greater sense of freedom, which I love. Just getting around in Sekiro is fun.

The setting is awesome. The atmosphere created by the visuals, music and environmental storytelling is sublime. I also love that your character is voiced now. It really does make interactions with NPCs more impactful. The more direct approach to storytelling is also something I prefer. There are still many people and things you find in the environment that give even more depth to the lore, but I enjoy there being a straightforward narrative thrust to the game.

Overall it's easily one of my favorite games of all time.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Review

NoobFeed editor Ahnaf Tajwar writes - FromSoftware cooked up one of the best combat systems with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and never did anything like it again. That may be a good thing, as it makes this game one of a kind. If you are a fan of Souls games or a borderline masochist, you will, without a doubt, love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because it is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for all hardcore gamers.

Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
