I bought the PC version and I love this game!

2pacalypsenow2230d ago (Edited 2230d ago )

Might pick this up, looks interesting.

And on another note.

I thought the Switch played every game it’s “Best”?

Neonridr2230d ago

why do you feel the need to stir up crap. Hard to say that the Switch version is the best when there isn't one to begin with. I mean really?

Neonridr2230d ago

to be THAT guy, you mean..

GamingSinceForever2229d ago

For the very reason that you go out of your way to respond to it. Tey not taking it so personal and things like this will naturally go away. Common sense.

Realms2229d ago

Why does it bother you? The Switch is good for what it is but to many it isn't the best place to game if that is the only console you want to invest in.

Lol why jab at switch fans and the game isnt even on the system. Well besides pc being the best to play of course since it has infinite possibilities but its really just opinion/preference. Just play where you want to play. It shouldnt be such a topic of debate, all it will do is stir things up for fanboys lol.

bluefox7552229d ago

I for one appreciate this comment, as we have to see those articles for nearly every switch multiplat.

Neonridr2229d ago

then let's keep those comments to the articles where there ACTUALLY is a Switch version. Makes a little more sense then, no?

King_Noctis2229d ago

How can it play best on the Switch if it isn’t even on the Switch?

PowerOfTheCloud2229d ago

@2pacalypsenow

I read all the time that 1X plays games the best. PC must be fake news!

I got it on Xbox one x. Major frame issues. Makes it frustrating to play

SenseiLeRoux2229d ago

Same on ps4 pro, needs an update

UltraNova2229d ago

Its their engine. Has been like this since, well ever. Don't expect a patch fixing this.

Imortus_san2229d ago

All From Software games play like shit on consoles, this was the first one that I felt like I could play and have fun, but not with those problems.

Imortus_san2229d ago

Question, did you try to disable 4K textures in the console and select 1080p output?
Can you try it and let me know?

Imortus_san2229d ago

"This does nothing", do you mean you test it? or didn't care!? - I ask this stuff because I'm interested in the game.

Because there are games that win more frames, since the game becames lighter in texture and resolution.

414gamer2228d ago (Edited 2228d ago )

It has no effect on the shuddering . It is not a 4K or 1080 issue. It is a frame pacing issue. Check digital foundry video on YouTube for the game. They explain it well

Father__Merrin2229d ago

The main reason for pc superiority is frame rates. Even with higher graphics settings in modern games it doesn't look miles better but it's the frame rates. This is due to the cpu, I'm almost sure next gen consoles will have cpu that easily achieve locked 60fps

Thunder_G0d_Bane2229d ago

Unfortunate for you, the consoles next gen will be focusing on Native 4k which means another generation of 30fps for you guys. locked 60fps in native 4k is not happening for next gen of consoles thats for sure lool

But atleast you won't have to deal with checkerboard upscaling to 4k anymore.

SurgicalMenace2229d ago

All this framerate talk, let's be real, the PC makes graphics look better but doesn't invent a different experience. Whether I'm playing in 4k, 60 fps, ray tracing, etc Sekiro, is still Sekiro. People spend too much time trying to prove their superiority in a virtual realm. What baring does how good your entertainment looks have on actually being great in real life?

Where our experience is best spent, for entertainment, is subjective. Whether PC or console, Sekiro is the real topic of discussion.

TheEnigma3132229d ago

yeah that's likely what's going to happen.

Father__Merrin2229d ago

Well I'd have to disagree if next gen consoles have a vastly upgraded cpu in comparison to what ps4x1 launched with there's a big possibility to having a 4k/60 box

bluefox7552229d ago

Deal with checkerboarding? I like checkerboarding. It almost replicates native 4k, without nearly as much overhead. Perfect for consoles. That's why you can have games like God of War or HZD that look far better than anything on the more powerful X1X.

All Console games could have been 60fr this Gen, it all cames down to the console maker, if they had made pressure for games to be 60fps then the companies making those games had to bend to it, but since Sony / Microsoft / Nintendo all care is about getting the game on the system they don't relly care if it's 30fr or 60fr.

bluefox7552229d ago

While they will have better CPUs, you know most devs will focus on effects, image quality, and resolution. Doesn't matter if 60fps is possible if the devs prioritize graphics over frame rate.

It's pretty well optimized for PC, doesn't take a ton to get 4k/60. Apparently not so much on console from what I hear, hopefully they get it worked out.

Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
