EB: Of course the folks over at NetherRealm Studios have upped the gore factor this time around. Every attack seems visceral and the blood spatters and random X-ray moments keep the fights interesting. I can say that even though once I hopped online and got my ass kicked, I am thoroughly enjoying myself with the Beta so far. There haven’t been any dropped connections or major lag spikes during play either. Needless to say, I am excited for the rest of the weekend to hone my skills before the launch of the game on April 23rd!
A Mortal Kombat 11 Easter egg has finally been found years after it was originally teased by the senior designer who put it in.
The Humble Melee Mayhem Bundle just launched recently. It includes ten items including Mortal Kombat 11, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Chivalry 2, and more.
From VGC: "Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon says the announcement of his studio’s next fighting game will have to wait until 30th aniversary celebrations are over.
Boon explained on Twitter that while he understood fans were anxious to hear about the next NetherRealm Studios game announcement, the studio would be focusing on the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat first."
Guess this means there's going to be some sort of rerelease, maybe a remake of Mortal Kombat Trilogy
I’d love it if they had the original actors recreate the animation captures from the original so they can reskin the game with mOLDer Kombat.
My only complaint so far is no multi level fights like in Injustice 2. I hope that's going to be in the final version and just closed off right now for the beta.
Loving the blood more so then the X-ray in the previous versions.
