I have it on pc and cant see whats so good about it, its a hard 2d side scrolling game, of course, it sold better on switch because they lack 3rd party games so whenever some indie is released they buy and overrate the heck out of said game.

I agree, I don't know what the fuss is all about. We get tons of Indie games on Steam, I can't see what it is that made this game better than many others in the last year.

Y'know, I'm getting REAL DAMN TIRED of that false "games-drought" narrative that certain people, with narrow taste in games, keep trying to accuse the Switch of suffering from.

No one who actually gives the Switch's library a fair rating, still believes that Switch lacks good third party games at this point, of which indies also count.

They'll move the goalposts by crying "ports don't count cause we've played them before", or put up a list of games that aren't on it to deflect from the ones that are, but it's a fact that the Switch isn't lacking third party options for those that want it.

Indies have only helped that list of good none-Nintendo games grow; it has enough of a good library that it can EASILY stand as a solo platform on its own now, if people want it to. [Though I still advocate for multiconsole ownership, for those that can afford to do so.]

Many indie games last gen far suprassed the 1 million mark, and many this gen as well, and some should sell more.
