Fifteen years later, the vampires are still at each other’s throats. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 begins as the previous game did way back in 2004.
Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 has been rated by the ESRB, suggesting a release date announcement could be near. The game is set to launch in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
Screen Rant writes, "Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is a long-awaited return to a cult classic, but one change isn't looking like a very promising shift."
If any modders are interested in working on this game, I think a clear dialogue mod will be one of the first available.
I'm disappointed. They seemed to have turned Johnny Silver-hand into a vampire. They say they are using VTM 5e rules, but there seems to be no actual roleplaying. The gameplay reveal was the same warehouse over and over again. The devs didn't try to get to know the goth community it seems nor do they have any experience beyond playing Bloodlines and even then they were not competent enough to understand what made that game great, let alone understand the TTRPG.
Paradox Interactive has released the first gameplay trailer for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 which will be using Unreal Engine 5.
i thought it was saying Bloodborne 2
Let me guess, orange man bad.
"... Body type, gender pronouns, employment history and fashion can all be toyed with for a very modular build."
Good to know they have their priorities in order. Not sure if I could have enjoyed the game without the option to make my character a Zhe or a Zir.
That comment sections is really digging into them. I don't care too much that you have the option to play as a trans-vamp living in Seattle with gender pronouns, so long as it doesn't get in the way of actual good story telling and creativity rather than feeling like a PC checklist of things they squeezed in 'cos'. Gameplay and story telling are paramount and should be first and for most for any RPG.
um.....sure....whatever.
