Devs: 'Bloodlines 2 is definitely taking political stances on what we think are right and wrong'

Fifteen years later, the vampires are still at each other’s throats. Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 begins as the previous game did way back in 2004.

Kashima2276d ago

i thought it was saying Bloodborne 2

doritos2276d ago

Let me guess, orange man bad.

InMyOpinion2276d ago

Well, it's hard to portray him in any other way without blatantly lying & disregarding facts.

doritos2276d ago

You keep on believing that. In the meantime, he will win again in 2020. Gonna be fun watching all those heads scream at the sky, again.

DillyDilly2276d ago (Edited 2276d ago )

Or just don't do real world politics in a fake world ? I will wait for the reviews on this one as I dont like political one sided preaching in my entertainment & I'd prefer none or fake politics not real world

Razmiran2276d ago

Just because he wins doesnt mean he is a good president
It just means americans are xenophobic

MadMax2276d ago (Edited 2276d ago )

Yea, because we all know the media is ALL about facts and honesty! The media has portrayed him that way, so yea it must be true? Lol, comon now. Wake up already. People still buying all that media bias nonsense? People that watch that shit just dont have a mind of their own or are too powerless. There are alot of brainwashed sheep out there.

@Razmiran

Xenophobic? America is literally a hotbed of all races and nationalities. More so than any other country in the world. I know it's cool to hate on America but name me one other big country that allows people of any race or color into their country and allows them to become full blown citizens so openly.

America literally just had a black president before Trump.

Also, do you somehow know who is running against Trump in 2020? Is it a person of color or race? Someone from a different country? Oh, that's right. No one knows yet. For all you know he could be running against other white people. Him winning doesn't make anyone xenophobic. It all depends on who he's running against before you can even ATTEMPT to make that claim.

I don't think you know what xenophobic means.

CaptainObvious8782276d ago (Edited 2276d ago )

@opinion

Is that why, thanks to President Trumps policies, blacks have the lowest unemployed rate since decades and decades ago and many other great statistics to do with whamen and minorities?

I personally care about ALL races and genders (there's only 2 gender's btw) but I know someone with TDS would think that kind of racism from my first paragraph is acceptable.

InMyOpinion2275d ago (Edited 2275d ago )

I'm judging the administration by the actual reforms they are working on. Trickle down economics (giving tax reliefs for the wealthy), blocking public health care (putting a price on peoples lives), disregarding enviromental policies completely. And the fact that the president himself is constantly caught making hypocritic statements. He even refutes stuff caught on tape. It's just sad really.

@CaptainObvious878 - What policies did the Trump administration propose that makes it easier for black people to get jobs? Can you name them?

I'm not a US citizen myself so I'm watching the Orwellian spectacle unfold from the outside.

Lol, he's not gonna win. He lost a lot of supporters, the majority of which were giving him the benefit of the doubt but he literally has the worst approval rating in history.

The reason he won in 2016 is because a lot of us SUSPECTED that he was gonna be a horrible president. And a lot of people voted for him because they thought Hillary would be worse. They voted on who they thought to be the lesser of two evils. But in 2020 we KNOW he's a horrible president.

Nobody with half a brain is gonna vote for him. It's not even gonna be close.
Only halfwits with no education still wanna vote for him.

@CaptainObvious
Unemployment rates were declining before he was president lol. Most of the credit yall like to give him are effects of Obama's Presidency. Not trump. trump has done nothing but destroy what President Obama and others before him built.
https://www.nytimes.com/int...

34 People in his administration has been indicted, since when has that ever happened?
https://www.msn.com/en-us/n...

He is corrupt and the worst president in history.
But no matter what evidence I give you halfwits, all you'll say is "Fake news" anyway. So don't bother to reply.

"... Body type, gender pronouns, employment history and fashion can all be toyed with for a very modular build."
Good to know they have their priorities in order. Not sure if I could have enjoyed the game without the option to make my character a Zhe or a Zir.

Maybe they want more people than you to also enjoy the game? it isnt created just for random dudes who want to play as a buff dude with a buzzcut or a sexy girl which they pretend they play as because its seexeeh. In a roleplaying game the character creation is obviously very important. The more options the better.

nyu12276d ago

more options are bad amirite ?

warriorcase2276d ago (Edited 2276d ago )

That comment sections is really digging into them. I don't care too much that you have the option to play as a trans-vamp living in Seattle with gender pronouns, so long as it doesn't get in the way of actual good story telling and creativity rather than feeling like a PC checklist of things they squeezed in 'cos'. Gameplay and story telling are paramount and should be first and for most for any RPG.

doritos2276d ago

They have gotten ban happy on that site because they think speech they don't agree with is hate speech. Typical of those on the left.

doritos2276d ago

Thanks for the pics. Screw those devs right into the sunlight as they just want to push an agenda.

This whole game is one big mistake.

Dudeson493d ago

If any modders are interested in working on this game, I think a clear dialogue mod will be one of the first available.

anast493d ago

I'm disappointed. They seemed to have turned Johnny Silver-hand into a vampire. They say they are using VTM 5e rules, but there seems to be no actual roleplaying. The gameplay reveal was the same warehouse over and over again. The devs didn't try to get to know the goth community it seems nor do they have any experience beyond playing Bloodlines and even then they were not competent enough to understand what made that game great, let alone understand the TTRPG.
