Sekiro Shadows Die Twice has one significant problem: it's not Bloodborne.
NoobFeed editor Ahnaf Tajwar writes - FromSoftware cooked up one of the best combat systems with Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and never did anything like it again. That may be a good thing, as it makes this game one of a kind. If you are a fan of Souls games or a borderline masochist, you will, without a doubt, love Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice because it is a masterpiece. It is a must-play for all hardcore gamers.
ummm why are we getting a review for a 5 year old game?? everyone knows its a masterpiece... late much? lol
GoodSmile Company formally revealed two Nendoroids based off characters from Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. - IS
Miyazaki's clearly got Sekiro and Bloodborne in his heart, and refining their combat philosophy is in his mind.
Hells yeah. Would love to see another really tight action focused title next. Be cool if he did something completely different, like a cyborg-ninja game.
Please no more bloodborne or dark souls style simplistic combat trash with damage numbers. I'd rather have fluid and responsive controls. Hack and slash combat is a million times better than the awful and dated combat in bloodborne. If this game isn't like that then it's a major selling point, not a flaw. Look at all these bandwagon battle royale, looter shooter or "souls like" games that just shamelessly copy, isnt it better to do something different?
Bloodborne didnt ruin the Dark Souls Remastered for me...so I doubt it will ruin it for this
Everything I've seen about Sekiro leads me to think I will enjoy it even more than From Software's previous games. The combat system, traversal and mystical feudal Japanese setting all seem more appealing to me than anything that has come before.
Ew, the Express.
Bloodborne didn't ruin anything. I can still play any other Souls style games just fine.
