CG writes: The Division 2 offers better character customization than its predecessor. That’s a step in the right direction. However, it seems somewhere along the line, a remit avoiding anything looking remotely attractive reared its ugly head. The end result looking at the default heads presents a rogues gallery of battle hardened fem fatales. The default characters don’t represent reality in most instances, more like Planet of the Apes. It looks like the designers deliberately exaggerated the facial features, raising nose heights, placing eyes horribly close together, and giving the females the broadest of jawlines. It’s pretty laughable, they agreed this was acceptable. With minor tinkering though, it’s possible to make them look normal again.
Time to gear up and save the day as the latest DLC for The Division 2 is here.
Haven't touched division 2 in 4 years but this dlc brought me back, still astonished by the graphics of this game and the attention to detail. Brooklyn dlc map is content packed with decent about of collectibles and side activities. Thinking of getting the premium pass, because I'll be doing 100% dlc completion.
To celebrate The Division 2’s sixth anniversary, Ubisoft shared a dev diary which included a sneak peek at the Battle for Brooklyn DLC, showing off Washington Street, the iconic view of Brooklyn Bridge, along with combat against the Cleaners.
The Division 2 celebrates year 6 with some interesting events.
Why do all the default heads look so weird? lol
Ubisoft has a history of making off base females. They did this with Siege and it's taking months and years to fix Valkyrie and Hibanas faces. One of my 3D artist friends even said it might be some old 15 year vets who have been with the company so long yet haven't improved and they can't fire them.
Probably figure they can avoid bad press (Polygon, Kotaku, Eurogamer) if they make the defaults all slightly ugly.
Incredible?
Nice, but what species are those?
