most people have the S, not the og fatty. They discontinued that when the S came out and the S has sold more units than the og and X combined.

And honestly, the fatty not be the best performer but it does alright. It's what i use and I dont have any issues but I know I'm not getting the most out of it but the game still plays good. And that's what matters most... that it's a good game.

The S is probably the most common. At least based on speculated sales over the years. The OGX1 wasn't on the market that long before the S came out, and it's been the predominate seller since it was released.

While I have issues with the actual gameplay/characters, I haven't seen a single complaint about hardware issues on PC other than yours. If you're having issues running it, you're either running it above your specs or something is happening with your actual hardware.

I was playing on 1440p and the frame rate is 144 or higher.

People upgraded to the X cuz it does 4k with better graphics on most games, just like many upgraded from ps4 to pro for the same reason

I upgraded because I like the beefiness of the X, and own a 4K television, and as late in the game as the X may be, I've gotten plenty of use out of it.

Honestly, casual gamers (not in the know) aren't really even aware of performance issues. They're not performance conscious. They play their favorite games and have no idea what 'frame rate' means, or what Digital Foundry is.

It appears as though devs are leaving the S and original Xbox One on the back burner as this gen draws to a close, as the games are undercooked (pun intended) on both platforms.

Games are getting more complex, and the older Xbox models just can't keep up. They're really focusing on the more capable hardware of the X, and that's good, but it stinks for S and Xbox One users.

Well, of the 4 consoles the base X and S does have the weakest GPU so I would expect it to perform worse on the orig XB1 and S. I think the devs should have paired the res back to 900P on the X1 orig to get a more consistent framerate.
