It's got potential and I liked it but the performance was poor for me. Very stuttery framerate and very low resolution in handheld mode. I imagine it will be optimised before release like many Switch games have before

Exame Super Mario Odyssey was 720p at E3 and then 900p at launch , same with Splatoon 2.

It needs a ton of polish imo.

jznrpg2291d ago

Will be on PS4 too. It’s also not a finished game

_SilverHawk_2291d ago (Edited 2291d ago )

The game is rubbish and needs a lot of improvements. I know the switch doesn't have a lot of compelling games to play but this game is far from being a good game. I dislike switch fans who will hype games that aren't good

EddieNX 2291d ago

It's published by Nintendo , so it's never ever coming to PS4.

Silverhawk
The game isn't rubbish, like I said it just needs its performance Improving before release and it should be a decent game.

_SilverHawk_2291d ago (Edited 2291d ago )

This game isn't even worth talking much about because of how bad it is. It would be on the ps store for probably 10 quid but full price on a switch. This game needs a lot of work to be even remotely mediocre and wouldn't even be noticed on any other gaming system if released. The game is bad judging by the released demo and hopefully the quality is increased. Some people would buy a rubbish game at full price when there are amazing games to support instead. Zone of the Ender's 2 looks better than this game and performs better and that was a ps2 game. People need to praise good games and not bad ones. Compare this game to days gone and tell me which looks a lot better and think about how a lot of people are saying days gone doesn't look like a good game. That's because of the standard of a PlayStation game

Neonridr2291d ago

@Silverhawk - ZOE2 wasn't pushing anywhere close to as much on screen as this game is.

King_Noctis2291d ago

What a childish comment, Silverhawk. The Switch doesnt have alot of compelling games? Do you even own a Switch to begin with?

Silverhawk. You clearly haven't played it and you're clearly one of these totally irrational Nintendo haters .

Your opinion isn't relevant.

Also , a PS2 game looks better than this that runs on UE4? There's stupid and there's that. That's a new level of stupidity.

How much do you have to hate Nintendo to say that any PS2 game looks better than a Switch game?

It's like me saying a 3DS game looks better than a PS3-4 game. It's not even possible.

DaFeelz2291d ago

I played the demo and it didn’t convince me. I don’t hate it. It’s just not for me. Which, is ok. It does need some help on the performance side of things but, good lord that music. Like fingernails down a chalkboard.

thesoftware7302291d ago (Edited 2291d ago )

SilverHawk.

I disagree that it would not gather any attention, the names behind the game would make sure it got attention(in japan mainly). If the game is any good or not is definitely opinion.

2 former Armored Core director made/making mecha games this gen. One made Left Alive and the director of 2/3 is making this game. It was damn fun and my most wanted game now that DMCV is out.

I would be down for that. They sabotaged the sales optional of the first came due to lack of advertising and attacking the few people online that tried to plug the game. Because of that I never saw a sequel in the cards.

While there have been many mecha games that came out in the past year, none have really been able to scratch the giant customizable robot itch like DxM can. Its not as good as Armored Core but it does do a decent job of filling in Armored Cores absence. I like the things this game brings but they really need to work on their content. After the story was over there were a handful of online missions that could be cleared in 3-4 days. The randomly generated dungeon was a nice idea but it should have been really expanded on more.
