VGChartz's Patrick Day-Childs: "Attack of the Earthlings is a dark, turn-based stealth tactics game, with a unique narrative approach; players follow the 'Swarmers', a small alien race that is tired of humanity mining its planet for resources, rather than the humans. So while the player moves the aliens each turn, the AI takes on the role of humanity and moves those units each turn, typically in a predictable pattern."
Attack of the Earthlings puts an interesting spin on the standard humans vs. aliens storyline, putting the player in the shoes of the aliens, who are being attacked by the menace of humanity.
"Attack of the Earthlings is worth your money if you’re in the market for an XCOM like game and you’ve already played both XCOM games to death." Josh @ TC
Nick writes: "A humorous turn-based strategy game which definitely has flaws throughout, but is thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. Attack of the Earthlings is a fine game to dive into if you're all for hating your evil human corporations and their plans for sucking the galaxy dry of resources - one lonely planet at a time."
