Yes PLEASE!! They really need to create a new BoF game. At this point I'd be happy if they even remade BoF 1-3 and re-released them. You'd think it couldn't cost too much to remake an old school JRPG like those, right. I really regret selling my PSP simply because I had imported BoF3 from EU for it. I know it get's love but the series is probably one of the most underrated JRPGs stateside imo. And look how popular Dragon Quest has finally become in the US. Capcom has an opportunity to catch lightning in a bottle with BoF.
Dino Crisis. There was a spin off of gouls and goblins where the protagonist was a gargoyle. I don't remember the name but it was a good game and has potential.
I'm so done with remakes, remasteres etc that this generation has on PS4. When PS5 comes are they gonna do remasters from remasters? I mean come on, just bring something NEW and not recycled games. I can buy them used from video game shop if I want to.
what you talk'n bout Willis? They've already been doing remasters of HD games from PS360 to PS4/One. Or Remasters of Remasters as well such as the DMC Collection, Okami, KH...... So no doubt we'll continue to see Remasters of Remasters next gen. Easy cash in on a game that needs little attention or is an already finished product.
Remakes on the other hand. If done properly these can be great. Remastering a non-HD game just doesn't work imo. You can't spit enough shine or put enough polish on a PS/N64/Saturn or GC/PS2/XB era game for a great remaster. However, Remakes like with what Capcom did with Resident Evil 2. YES!!
I do agree in regards to new content. Onimusha, Dino Crisis, Lost Planet, Viewtiful Joe, etc, while solid-great games in their time I'd much rather Capcom invest in something new. Breath of Fire I'd love to see resurrected but everything else can stay in nostalgia land. Onimusha would be great to see a spiritual successor to. A new IP in that realm of Feudal Japan. This is as far fetched as winning the lotto but Dark Void might be worth resurrecting as well. Perhaps even as a co-op title. That is if they could actually spend the time and pull off the game play. That game's mechanics were absolutely terrible. If they can have a suite that handles and flies like Anthems Javelins...
Yes, Remakes like Resident Evil 2 is totally OK since they made the game from scratch and also brought many new things, so it is a totally new game, but just using the frame of an older game. But the Remastered and some lame remakes that is completely the same game but with better graphics should be illegal in gaming industry. Early after PS4 came there were Remastered games mostly, I do remember of not finding anything to play since I didn't want to pla them and pay 60$ of them. If they make them they should cost like 10$ and that's it.
Excellent selection of games. Capcom has such a gold mine of IPs to bring back.
I don‘t want freaking revivals. I want them to make an effort and take some risk.
I'm still completely baffled as to why Steel Battalion has not been ported to VR.
I would like to see:
-Beatdown fists of Vengeance
-GODHAND
-Viewtiful Joe (even if just a remaster)
Final Fight.
Saturday Night Slam (lol) Masters.
