Do You Need A SCUF Controller For Apex Legends?

Is a SCUF controller really necessary for Apex Legends if you're playing on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One?

obviously don't need one on Xbox because the elite controller is better than anything scuff has released to date. I have not read the article just in case they are alluding to pro controllers in general.

Does anyone in the comments have a pro controller? They definitely help but it's not going to be a huge overall advantage. But any advantage small or not is still an advantage.

Is it worth it if you want to have the very best? Also absolutely. The Pros use them for a reason.

I always think of it like this does the average Joe need to spend 2k on his golf club set? No it's not going to help. Should a pro use the best equipment for tournament play and his career? Yes they should.

You don't "need" one but this is one of those games that greatly exemplifies why these types of controllers are great at showing people just how limited your hands are with a standard controller.
