They really need to improve the frame rate lol demo played truly horrendously

Neonridr2297d ago

demos are early builds, thankfully tons of time before the game releases to improve anything.

Yeah :p was just saying that i hope they do. Game was pretty awesome from what i played its just the framerate is the roughest ive seen since... uhhh honestly ever.

I cant believe i got 5 disagrees tbh lol it was running at 10-20fps docked reeeeally often and even when it did go above 20 it had terrible terrible frame pacing which just made everything feel really jittery. I restarted the demo just in case my system was glitched out but it was the same thing. People are cool with that i guess lmao ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Neonridr2297d ago

@Axecution - tbh you are the first person I have heard framerate complaints from about this game. Nothing personal, it's just some people like to slander the Switch at every turn and say silly things like Doom and Wolfenstein 2 are unplayable or a horrible mess, when they are perfectly fine even at a lower resolution.

Did you try running it in handheld mode to see if the game ran any smoother/worse? I guess you could always delete it an re-install in case it was an issue with your game.

@Neonridr

Nah man lots of people mentioned it. On my search I found that Digital Foundry just did an analysis as well and said quite honestly the exact same thing as me lol

And nah I would never rip on the Switch. It's my main console these days

SuperSonic912297d ago

LOL. This ain't no Gundam Battle Operation 2.

Neonridr2297d ago

how would you know? You have to actually play the game to be able to make an opinion you know..

No, it's from former developers of Armored Core 2 & 3 of From Software and this game play like a less weighty Armored Core. This game's story is a lot darker than Gundam as your human avatar has their limbs amputated as you upgrade their skills. Eyes gouged out in favor of mechanical eyes. You look more demonic and therefore more machine. Hence the name of the game.

I have played GBO2 as well and they are different games. GBO2 is fun but more jank since it's a free game.

I would be down for that. They sabotaged the sales optional of the first came due to lack of advertising and attacking the few people online that tried to plug the game. Because of that I never saw a sequel in the cards.

While there have been many mecha games that came out in the past year, none have really been able to scratch the giant customizable robot itch like DxM can. Its not as good as Armored Core but it does do a decent job of filling in Armored Cores absence. I like the things this game brings but they really need to work on their content. After the story was over there were a handful of online missions that could be cleared in 3-4 days. The randomly generated dungeon was a nice idea but it should have been really expanded on more.
