Even with nazis and Cthulhu monsters as enemies, 'Acthung! Cthulhu Tactics' can only go so far.
Michael at Skewed and Reviewed has posted a mixed review for the tactical game saying he liked the premise but found the repetition a problem.
Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is a turn-based strategy RPG set in an alternate timeline where Nazis used supernatural forces in World War II. Unfortunately, it often plays out like a stalemate between being entertaining and a drag.
"All in all, Achtung! Cthulhu Tactics is a fairly accessible tactical strategy game. It lacks some of the extra bits that an Xcom game brings to the table. Some might welcome this difference.
