Today Arc System Works broadcasted about fifteen minutes of the EVO Japan build of the upcoming battle action game Kill la Kill The Game: IF.
Kill la Kill the Game: IF, released earlier this week, is a fighting game with a story. And publishers Arc System Works are so protective of it that they’ve stated “all streams and uploads” of the game’s story mode “are prohibited indefinitely”.
Kill la Kill: IF has done a lot of work to push the arena fighter genre forward, even if its story mode won't build up new fans.
The Mako Reactor says: “We played Kill la Kill The Game: IF on both PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch and here is everything you need to know.”
It looks great, but I was expecting the camera to be closer to the characters and less arena based.
Love the anime, but can't say this game looks very good, especially compared to recent 3D cell-shaded anime-fighters, like Naruto UNS4, and Dragon Ball FighterZ.
This would’ve made for a great action game. But I can understand why they chose a fighting based game.
