From PSU: "Back at E3 2017, EA announced a new game; Anthem. Anthem is an online multiplayer RPG that, at first glance, seems to duplicate what Destiny built.
The world was fully explorable through sky, land, and sea. Creatures roam around freely and the world appears to be alive. However outside of the announcement trailer, BioWare nor EA really gave too much information on the game."
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
I have decided as well to just stick with Destiny 2 as my looter shooter. No time in my life for 2 such games and frankly it's too early to know if Anthem is really better. Hopefully, now that Bungie is free from the influence of Activision, they can better pursue their vision for the game. And frankly, Destiny 2's shooting is far superior to Anthem's IMO.
You're in an abusive relationship with Activision's ex, talking about a potentially worse one with EA. Get help. Get out.
Everyone I've talked to so far that pre-ordered and played the VIP demo has cancelled their pre-order.
Destiny has always been straight up fun. It's had its highs and lows, but whenever I have taken a break from it there's never been another game that could fill that niche for me. The Anthem demo didn't even tempt me to leave destiny.
I'll stick with Warframe. Free to play with fair mt's for a free to play game.
