Capcom said Hideaki Itsuno could make Dragon's Dogma 2, but he chose to make DMC5 first

From VG247: "The calls for Capcom to make a true sequel to 2012’s Dragon’s Dogma have been loud for some time now – so what gives? According to the game’s director, it’s all about a difficult choice and Devil May Cry 5.

Hideaki Itsuno is an extremely prolific video game developer. Over his years at Capcom he’s proved instrumental in the creation of countless classics including Rival Schools, Power Stone, Darkstalkers, Street Fighter Alpha and of course Devil May Cry, the series he’s now returned to, with the promising-looking DMC5 set to release in a few short weeks."

Damn him. Joking, but I would have much preferred DD2.

i would prefer Dragons Dogma 2 also by wide margin .....but i would like to be made like the original DD and not like the bad expansion where they tried to replicate Dark Souls

Lol, I read the headline and I came here to say the exact same thing. Damn him. Imagine a current gen DD2? My God

Maybe just wait for next gen hardware so we will see a much bigger leap in visuals and AI.

Good call, DD2 could use some new beefy hardware! This thing on next gen will be a blast

dmc5 I have been waiting for it for over a decade, but I hope there is a ddogma2. Best cobat in an action rpg by a margin, even better than the souls games

2 great franchises! So there's actually big hopes for a DD on next gen :D

Smart decision. I don't mind DD2 but we needed DMC5 a LONG time ago.
