Actually your right. I am so hyped for it and every month seeing a different group of people have seen the game running or seen the first couple of hours of the game is pissing me off. We’ve seen 0.01% of the game. Show us something!
It was announced WAY too early and I think that’s the main issue here. I don’t think he wants to show more because it will still be a while and doesn’t want the hype to fizzle our by showing off full gameplay too early.
devs please STOP ANNOUNCING YOUR GAMES WHEN THEY START DEVELOPMENT! A game should not be announced until it is a year from release 1.5 -2 years should be maximum but even that is excessive.
I really am sick of it I mean look at ff vii remake, god knows how many years that will be (this isn’t as bad as that but still come on guys just announce when it’s ready)

Truth. Although I doubt it is possible for ANYONE to do worse than Square Enix, when it comes to announcing things too early lol. Kingdom Hearts 3 took 6 years almost, Final Fantasy 15 which was versus, was announced since the early ps3 days. Like you said I'm scared to even see what happens to ff7.

No we don't. This is how expectations let people down. Metal Gear Solid was fantastic - but most people seemed to hate or dislike #5. Some will say.. "But, Konami!!!" Nah. I don't buy it. We know virtually nothing about the game. Don't hype up something just because he created it..

If you don't want to get too hyped because you're afraid of disappointment that's on you to set your expectations right. I for one am comfortable, being hyped for this.

Hideo Kojima has created some of my favorite games of all time. Him finally working on a new IP after such a long time is more than enough to make my hype go through the roof. As a bonus the setting of Death Stranding is right up my alley. I am the type of person that is binge-watching PBS Spacetime on youtube. Naturally I'm also a huge fan of science fiction books and movies.

Every trailer I've seen from Death Stranding so far is resonating with me in every way possible (the setting, music, acting and artstyle). I'm getting chills watching the trailers even though I don't even know what the game is about yet. I probably couldn't come up with a dream game that I'd want to play more than Death Stranding.

So yeah I'm extremely hyped and most people would probably tell me to temper my expectation.
I'm not gonna do it. I couldn't if I wanted to.
I'm expecting a masterpiece. And I'm sure Kojima will deliver.

This is just an opinion, but I think they need to stop hyping this game up especially since we seen only a little bit of actual gameplay. We just don't have a general idea of how it plays at least. I don't mind the story being kept a mystery, but the gameplay, how does it play? From what we seen, The general idea I got was we are a delivery person more then anything which doesn't tell much at all.

Eventually some people are gonna expect the best game ever created in the universe and will no doubt walk away somewhat disappointed no matter how small.

To me what’s interesting with this game is that on one hand you’ve got developers & people in the know that praise it & hype it up to Kingdom come which raises my curiosity.

On the other hand hype is not really a factor since I really don’t know what the hell it’s about & I like that. I want to be surprised, completely discover it all.

The Graphics look phenomenal yes but watching the gameplay all over again i really dont know what to think about it. After MGS-Guns of the Patriot he didnt show anything great again - Only fans will deny.

A "certified gamer" is someone who actually plays videogames (DUH!!) and not just watch people play & has played them for generations.
