Xander Ewing writes: "Necrosphere is an ugly, unfriendly, and punishing game… and I absolutely love it for that. In Necrosphere you will go through room after room of incredibly difficult platforming challenges with no breaks or filler in between. The art is lackluster, but that works in the game’s benefit because that keeps the map from ever distracting you from the intense maneuvers you will spend the whole game learning and perfecting. Necrosphere delivers a more challenging and more rewarding experience than most games dare to try."
Welcome to hell.....with puzzles and challenges!
Popzara's Nia Bothwell chats with Cat Nigiri's co-founder and designer about the simple joys of easy-to-play platformers (and why the Switch is an ideal home for them), learning to program games from scratch, colorful cat logos (naturally), the importance of rescuing abandoned kitties, and many other things that have nothing to do with cats. Did we mention the ballet suits and jetpacks?
Sony-owned Korea-based indie studio "Unties" has announced its PAX West game line-up along with some publishing deals.
Ummm, does indie mean something different now? Cause if Sony owns them, than aren't they no longer an indie studio?
Lmao all comments here are wrong, Unties is owned by Sony Music. Unties publishes games by indie studios not owned by Sony, which is why they are 'indie'. Because Unties is not owned by Sony Computer Entertainment, it therefore doesn't need to publish exclusive Playstation games.
