The Switch leads *console* interest, with 45%; but the highest interest is PC, with 60%. I'm happy to see that.

Geobros2336d ago

Me too. Another interesting point:
"Nearly 1 in 4 devs sees their game perform best on Switch, compared to other consoles"

Mr Logic2335d ago

Interesting, maybe, but not exactly positive.

I mean it's saying that 3 out of 4 devs perform better on consoles that are not Switch.

shinoff21832336d ago

Could be alot of these devs have already released their games on the other consoles. The other consoles have been out for some time before the switch.

Makes sense. It's the newest console. Has the most potential for growth right now. And offers innovation the others cannot match in a single package.

dparente742335d ago

there is really no Innovation on the switch. its mostly all retro or nostalgia based from AAA to indie. lots n lots of ports too.

Team_Litt2335d ago

That's hogwash. The hardware itself is innovative.

MaxedOutGamer2334d ago

The Switch uses technology that inferior to the PS3, it uses a 720p display and is portable, that doesn't make it innovative....phones exist....with far superior technology and screen resolution. It makes it different. Nintendo always make the cheapest COSTING consoles that they can sell for as high as possible....remember the 3DS that got a price cut from $250 to $170 after 5 months on the market? Nintendo uses cheap gimmicks and nostalgia to rope in customers. They need to go the Sega route imo

shinoff21832328d ago

It just can be used as a portable, its cool for some people, but its not really that innovative.

Sgt_Slaughter2335d ago

I hope those developers make the effort to actually provide quality releases, instead of downloading part of the game with a physical package or not even releasing the game physically in the U.S. (looking at you, Capcom. Both Beat Em Up Collection and Onimusha didn't get U.S. physical editions but in Japan they did)

DaDrunkenJester2335d ago

But yet the switch is missing so many big named 3rd party games..

wonderfulmonkeyman2335d ago

And it has not tanked its sales.
That and devs keep making good games for it despite the narrow-of-taste crying "drought".

RUSHING BEAT X: Return Of Brawl Brothers Preview [Co-Optimus]

"Back in the innocent 1990s, Jaleco released a trilogy of Super NES beat 'em ups in the Rushing Beat series. Well, in Japan, they were part of that series. In international markets, Jaleco renamed each game and censored it to pieces. Nowadays, however, a fourth game called RUSHING BEAT X: Return of the Brawl Brothers is in the works for Steam and Switch 2 from City Connection and Clear River Games. Like its predecessors, Rushing Beat X will support 2-player local co-op, and it's extremely promising," says Co-Optimus.
