It's hard not to agree with that statement. EA and the Star Wars IP has been anything but a success for both EA and Star Wars owner, Disney.

I mean… it was pretty underwhelming. They basically slapped on that overused “neon remaster” aesthetic that a bunch of older revivals have leaned on, cranked up the speed a bit, and called it a day. No real innovation, no fresh ideas, just a faster, flashier version of something we’ve already seen.

Who would have thought that giving games away for free would be so lucrative?
I can't comprehend what Disney saw in EA to make a deal with them. EA have all but tarnish the name of Star wars amongst gamers with needless microtransactions, not expanded the Star Wars story or lore and not created a single game that has made the Star wars name proud.
