yea, i was expecting this years ago. now i have other games that i want more than KH3. i'll probalbly play it this summer if there is a dead period between games.

RE2 is all kinds of awesome. i'm also a big player in WoT and the winter games campaign is underway. in 2 weeks, metro: exodus comes out and i want that more than KH3 right now. then comes sekiro in march and days gone in april - so, once i get through all of that, i'll hope to have some time this summer for KH3.

probably grew out of the series. doesn't mean it's a bad game by any means. the ones that would be into the series have changed. are either into new subjects or out of the loop with gaming. i noticed quite a few gamers that lose interest in story modes. Kingdom Hearts though is all about story, but mainly it's story is for a wider audience. it's more like a family game.

my biggest problem with trying to get hyped for KH3 now is that KH2 launched in 2005.....so it's hard to maintain that interest when there is almost a 14 year gap between proper sequels.

I am 13 hours in the game, beside revealing the worlds, they showed nothing believe me. This game is so awesome and meet quantity and quality. Nomura did magnficent job. It let wonder what if he is the one who released FFXV.

I dont know about you, but its the only announced game atm that is worth 60 bucks and day one purchase. So far the rest of the year is bland as fuck imo

Not at all resident evil is a piss poor franchise with only one good entry being 7 and that was only because vr saved it from being another bland horror game that is not scary.

Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, Metro Exodus, Devil May Cry 5, Control, Rage 2, Doom 2, Ori, Ghost of Tsushima (hopefully), Code Vein, Dreams, Gears 5, TLoU2, Pshychonauts 2 (hopefully)... there are more, but these are all the games off the top of my head that I find much more interesting to play then the convoluted mess that is KH.

Yeah I'd much rather play kh3 than most of that list for sure. Tlou2 will be a good 8 hours. And sekiro looks interesting but with no pvp it may get a little boring after a ng+ run. Code vein is eh looking. I think kh3 will probably give the most bang for your buck

The rest of the year has some good games coming out however Kingdom Hearts 3 is indeed my most anticipated game since kingdom Hearts 2. Hard to believe it's actually a thing now after all this time.

I have not watched a single trailer. I haven;t caught any spoilers either, and my deluxe edition is coming by 8 PM tomorrow. i am excited, but not as excited as GoW or other game previously. i just know it is coming and I will enjoy it. I was 15 (now 27) when this game got announce. I feel no hype for it anymore but I am still happy i'll be finally here

I had hype, but it's died as I have been replaying through the series. I had forgotten how convoluted and annoying some of the games are. Even down right bad at times. You only really remember the good parts, but it's all the bad ones that have struck a blow to my excitement for 3. I got to a point while playing 2 again where I asked myself why I was even excited for 3.

I never played the other games growing up. But I’ve always heard good things about them. So I picked this up. I like the characters. And I have no idea what the hell is going on. But that’s not what bothers me. I just played this for 45 minutes and no lie there was two, two minute gameplay sections the entire time. The rest was cutscenes. I wasn’t expecting that. I’m done for the night but I really hope it’s more than an hour of gameplay in the next 15hrs of game.

It’s my backlog that kills hype for games because I have so many to choose from it’s hard to settle on the game I want to play . I have over 200 games and haven’t played around half of them I’d guess .

Play it from the start and you just might. Everyone I know that started the first one has been hooked on the series since. And some of those people are the "too cool" guys that only like to play nba 2k and madden

Thing is.. the first one came out like a year after Final Fantasy X. VIII and IX were all a year apart before that. Final Fantasy games were still fresh in the memory and had a huge fanbase. Now everyone who played those games as kids are now adults.. kids these days probably haven't even touched those old games now.

I waited to see if those iconic FF characters were going to make an appearance.. and they haven't. So I'll probably be avoiding it.

Not sure what this Article means, My 17 year old was crazy hyped and we went to the 9pm opening last night. He met up with a bunch of his friends on a really long line at gamestop. I know where I live is not the whole world, but I'm sure there is a buzz going on.

Yeahh.. has your kid played FF7 through to 10? That was part of the magic of KH. Back when FF was stll releasing a game every year or so and we saw those characters again with a whole new story all mixed into one.

I was super excited until they revealed all the boring worlds. Monster's Inc. is the only truely unique world. Every other world just kinda looks the same as the next or its a newer version of an old world. Im probably alone in this but i wanted to see a variety of films theyve done over Disney's entire catalogue, not just stuff from recent past. Kindom Hearts 2 pulled it off, its a shame 3 couldnt. Its pretty clear they used newer films to attract a broader audience but as someone who grew up on old classics like Herby, Marry Poppins and Pete's Dragon i was hoping for some acknowledgement to Disney's past too. Another thing that shocks the crap out of me is the massive missed opportunity they had. They chose to do the Little Mermaid yet again, a level most people dont enjoy, instead of what should habe been a Finding Nemo/Dory world! If you have to do a water world, dont keep doing the same one...
