'Death Stranding' Will "Push Boundaries," Claims 'Quantum Break' Creator

Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima has been sharing his newest and upcoming PS4 exclusive, Death Stranding to different developers and studios in the industry. For example, earlier this week, Horizon: Zero Dawn director and Guerrilla Games were left speechless by the demo they saw.

Now, it's Remedy Entertainment's Sam Lake -- a writer and director who has had his hands in the creation of IP like Alan Wake, Max Payne, and Quantum Break -- who has been left impressed.

I’m sure it will. It’s Kojima we’re talking about here! Can’t wait to see some more gameplay.

IRetrouk1585d ago

I know nothing about this game, still a day 1 though, kojimas mind is on another level.

Neonridr1584d ago

I think most of us know next to nothing about this game, lol.

and yet it will still be a day 1 for so many ;)

Can't wait!!! Love a good kojima game😁

Proverbs 24:6

For by wise guidance you will wage war, And in abundance of counselors there is victory.

Kojima shows humility.

Kojima gets the advice and critique of the best in the business to guarantee the gamers a winning game on a platform that also pushes boundaries -the PS4.

He needs to lower that eyebrow. It's disrespectful to Kojima-san. jk.
Can't wait for the game

DafunkyRebel1584d ago

It’s a Max Payne pose get over it

AK911584d ago

I hope the same can be said for Control.

Also love the fact he's doing the Max Payne face.

gamer78041584d ago

I'm worried about Control from a story aspect. i really wish they just made Alan wake 2

NarutoFox1584d ago

You mean you wish it was an Xbox exclusive

MadLad1584d ago

@jak

Or, he's like me and really just wants Alan Wake 2. I'm happy to support any of their interesting projects. I even enjoyed Quantum Break a fair deal; but Alan Wake is one my favorite franchises, and I really want to see them concentrate on a sequel.

I enjoyed Alan Wake but it had camera issues for sure . It was like a slow paced Uncharted with a flashlight which isn’t bad but did it not do well enough for a sequel by now? I feel like it has grown more popular over time because people keep asking for it and the Xbox crowd jumps in it even if they haven’t played it because there aren’t many games to ask for a sequel to that were better than decent. Obviously if xbox thought it would make money they would have got it done by now?

gamer78041584d ago

@jakiah66 TedCruz is right I actually I just really like heavy story-based games, two of my favorites this generation are hellblade and Detroit. Not everything has to be about fanboy wars.

I have a feeling Remedy turned down an offer to become ms first party and things are the way they are with them.

King61584d ago (Edited 1584d ago )

Remedy is smart they know Microsoft Ruin everything they touch. so remedy got as far away from Microsoft as humanly possible before Microsoft could ruin them and then buy them and then close them lol.

SquillieDeeWilliams1584d ago

So Control isn't coming out on Xbox???...

Weeblordbad1584d ago (Edited 1584d ago )

And you ruined your English teachers career.

SuperSonic911584d ago

Dude, your English is not too bad but you certainly did your homework!
Bravo!

UniqueGuy911584d ago (Edited 1584d ago )

I wish they they join Sony as a first party though. The games they make perfectly fits the Sony formula(Story driven 3rd person action-adventure).

[email protected] king is right Microsoft f#ck up every thing they touch. Microsoft made Award winning highly praise franchises like halo and gears mediocre over time. Microsoft also destroyed rare the creator of some of best performers of the 90’s. I mean Microsoft is destroying the Xbox by treating it like Afterthought and putting all their exclusives on other Devices.

pietro12121584d ago

I'm glad they did. MS would not do Remedy justice
