With the goal to achieve Total Victory, players compete on favorite obstacle courses from the show to earn the "American Ninja Warrior" title, while show hosts Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamila provide commentary.
WTMG's Jordan Hawes: "American Ninja Warrior: Challenge is a poor attempt at trying to adapt the successful television show in game form. It lacks features, polish, and any sort of gameplay depth. If they based it on actual physics and give individual limbs stamina so you had to properly balance your bodies stamina as well as use your limbs freely instead of relying only on QTE’s then maybe it would have had something to try and master. The lack of effort is glaring and you should absolutely steer clear from this title."

Used to watch this on G4 back on the day. Didn't know it was still thing. I lost track of it when G4 was replaced with Esquire.
Never understand these game, they're always the worst QTE fest you could pay for, also why can they not even have halfway decent animations.
The only thing impressive about ninja warrior is the physical strength on display. It doesn’t work for cartoon characters... who would buy this? I don’t get it. I would rather watch an episode of ninja warrior. I stopped watching after the fisherman from the Japanese version beat the course. That dude was a monster.
The music is way too epic for a low-budget likely terrible QTE video game.
