The Pokeball Plus ruined Pokemon Let’s Go

The Pokeball plus is an interesting little gadget. It does a good job of doing what it is designed to, however some of its more functional features actually take away from the "Pokemon" experience that resides in the shell of a watered-down Let's Go game. What drove me away from the little ball was if you delete your save file you lose mew that to me I didn't like.

Just like any older game, if you stupidly delete your file with event Pokemon on it then you lose them. Have you never played a Pokemon game before?

That was a gimmick for kids. As an adult you don't need it but it was still a cool little gimmick.

There is no doubt it will around for the next Gen this fall. Maybe they will make even better use of its technology.

I didn't buy one but I have friends that did. Though they bought it for Pokemon 2019 more so than for Let Go. It is a nice novelty item I have to admit.

How I would personally like it to be is essentially a tamagotchi egg without a screen or cleaning up poké poop, just add more functionality to it. Hopefully it works with this year's game

I keep hearing conflicting stuff about whether these remakes are worth checking out or not. I would normally say I might wait for a price drop but these are Nintendo first party titles, so...I guess I have plenty of time to decide whether it's worth checking out or not. Opinions do help though.

The game itself Tross I can say without a doubt that you'll enjoy it. It's a solid game. It just gets easy with the Pokeball to overpower your Pokemon and take away the strategy. Of course, you don't have to use that function either but that's one of the main reasons to own one too. I like the not-so-random encounters with the Pokemon and the battles with trainers (when your not OP) are great as well. If you can find a bundle at Target in you are with the Pokeball grab it. It's on sale for $50 bucks, down from $100 and you can sell the Pokeball if you don't want it so the game is even cheaper.
