DSOGaming writes: "Back in 2013, we informed you about a Halo fan game that was built using Epic’s Unreal Engine 4, Project: Contingency. This Halo game was originally using Crytek’s CRYENGINE but the team has decided to switch engines, and yesterday a new trailer surfaced."
DSOGaming writes: "Back in August 2013, we informed you about Project: Contingency; a fan-made Halo game powered by CRYENGINE. It’s been almost two years since then and after a big radio silence, the dev team decided to release a bunch of artworks and videos for this project."
It looks coo, awesme and I really want to play it, but
inb4 M$ cease and desist.
Very interested in this. Microsoft should give them their permission on this with out delay!
This is awesome, woww I'm really impressed with those gun models! They look amazing.
It would be so damn awesome if MS allowed them to publish on the xbox one as an indie game! I would legitimately buy it.
One thing that many PC gamers will attest to is the severe lack of Halo in their gaming lives (provided they game exclusively on PC).
With only the original Halo: Combat Evolved and its sequel, Halo 2, available for PC, and with the upcoming release of Xbox One-exclusive Halo: The Master Chief Collection, PC gamers are sure to feel the pain within the Master Chief-less void in their lives come November 11th.
Fortunately, a team of Halo fans and indie game developers have been hard at work on a particularly interesting Halo project for PC called Project Contingency - a fan-made, free-to-play, massively multiplayer online Halo video game that runs on CryEngine 3.
Project Contingency was recently thrust into the spotlight after passing for leaked Halo 5 screenshots. Here is an early preview and dubbed Halo 5 for PC, this is one fan made game that deserves the title.
This project is super old, most likely vaporware by now. Just like Project Venerance, there hasn't been updates in a long time.
Dear Microsoft, if you dare touch this game with a C&D, then so help me god i will make you see halos :|
Crazy that people are making these games for free, just because there are fans....and there are multiple projects like these!
