New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe: Resolution, Frame Rate and Wii U Difference Explained

New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe version is basically an enhanced port of the Nintendo Switch version but with some difference in resolution, frame rate and has additional features.

Switch version is much better looking. Crazy how the Switch is so much smaller than WiiU but quite a bit more capable.

I guess Nvidia takes the credit for this.

I found this to be one of the worst games in the New Super Mario Bros franchise and a "alright" platformer back in the Wii U. The only redeeming thing about it was the 4 players coop.

So for $60 I wouldn't recommend this game for anyone other than fanatic Mario fans. Especially because there are so many better platformers on the Switch. Like: Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Rayman Legends, Celeste, Shantae, Sonic Mania, etc...

I completely disagree. The first game was a nice return to the classic games and worked very well on the DS, even if they didn't use the console features for much. The Wii game took all that implemented a new coop mode that together with a great level design made it the best one in my opinion.

The 3DS is the only one that I would straight up say it's a bad game. The level design was uninspired and the focus on coins didn't pay out. Now the Wii U game is alright, but they didn't do anything really new with the game and it feels like more of the same for almost the entire playthrough. The best part of it, for was the New Luigi U DLC that put a little spin in the game.

One of the worst? For me it's easily the best of the bunch. The worst game in the New Super Mario series was NSMB 2 on the 3DS. Boring as hell.
