Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition brings new DLC to the West for the very first time and it is a bittersweet moment.
Getting my copy Friday
Before if you were a fan of the Tales of series and you don’t live in Japan, Namco hated you. Tales of Rebirth, Tales of Destiny 2, & Tales of Innocence among other titles never got localized. This is all changed this decade with the release of Tales of Graces F in 2012 which signaled Namco’s willingness to localize nearly all future major titles in the series. Tales of Xillia’s success in western markets further cemented that strategy.
Nuts that we also go Hearts R too. Would hope they bring whatevers left as ports to pc and current/future gen consoles.
Its because Hideo Baba. He went on record. Saying Japanese Players and Fans only matters.
Thats more marketing.
Its not that they hated you, they didnt think they could make enough to justify it.
Would love to play a Tales game built from the ground up for PS4 and XB1
Tales of Beseria EDIT Nvm, also on PS3
AK91 Same here. Especially on a new engine (or Unreal 4)
i just hope this will not be as generic as the other 112 „tales of“ titles :/
It's much much better than the other 143 CoD, 342 BF, 325 FIFA yearly rehashes. You don't seem to like any games at all do you? Way to waste time :/ smh.
The problem with the game doing so bad was simply put they only put it on the Xbox at first. Huge mistake, most Xbox owners are not into Japanese games if it went on either Sony or Nintendo it would of done much better.
Enjoying it so far. Never played the original.
Got a copy early, and have really been enjoying it. Played it for hours the other day on my day off. Always loved Tales of Symphonia, and it would be great to see that get another release as well, considering it's already on Steam.
