It's not that the Switch didn't have a solid year, I had tons of fun with plenty of games. But hard to compare when you have games like God of War, Spiderman, Firewall Zero Hour and Astrobot (just to name a few)

PlayStation overall imo, ps4 and psvr both having steller exclusives ie gow, spidy, detroit to name a few and moss, astro bot, firewall zero hr to name a few for vr

God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Detroit, Dragon Quest XI, Spider-Man and all the PSVR titles give Sony the win for me. There were even more games but these were the ones that just blew me away!

Ps4. Barely played my switch, sure I got into octopath, smash, and pokemon strong but stopped playing them after only a few play sessions. Idk nintendo games just dont really stick to me as much anymore. Gow, spiderman, detroit and all the multiplats however, I loved.

PS4 hands down! The system has satisfied my gaming needs from 1st,2nd & 3rd party exclusives to multi plats & most of those games were adult/mature themed games.Can't wait to see what's in store for the PS4 this year!!

2019 is anybody's year for the taking. Whether it achieves that or not remains to be seen. I think Switch has a good chance at it though. It's only real weak point seems to be the online stuff, which doesn't interest me either way, and I doubt it interests most switch players or buyers.

It's never Nintendo's for the taking. They may put out a quality exclusive from time to time, but not often enough. They can't match PlayStation, and they can't match Xbox's online and services.

Though I'm glad Nintendo is still around, I left them after GameCube. Zelda and Mario weren't cutting it anymore.

RobtimusPrime Nintendo doesn't need a beast of a console for one I mean the Wii did beat Xbox 360 and PS3 in sales last gen Ps3 sold 83.8 million while Wii sold !01.63 million and the PS3 was a lot more powerful. ;)

I'm a Nintendo guy, but I'll even say PS4. Switch made some moves despite the lackluster 2018 for games. XBox is also making moves and I wouldn't count them out at all. The market is very healthy, which is great.
