Drift 19 is the "first and only serious drifting simulator" coming to PS4, Xbox One & PC

Plenty of racing games over the years have dabbled in the art of getting sideways, however, how many dedicated drifting games can you think of? Enter Drift 19. Labelled as “the world’s first realistic drift driver simulator“, Drift 19 is inspired by the history of drifting and includes a number of iconic drifting vehicles.

What's the significance of 19? To the uneducated it sounds like there have been 18 previous games and this one is going to be tired to the point of exhaustion.

I like drifting in games so I'm quite interested in this. It's generally best when it's a side activity rather than the main event but maybe they'll make it work, some of the old racing classics like Ridge Racer were all about the drift. A modern and realistic version of that could hit the spot nicely.

I highly doubt that. that was the main reason why i did NOT buy nfs rivals, 2012 mostwanted, the reboot, paycrap, 2010 Hotpursuit waaaaaaay to much Drifting. i hate drift racing games, bring back grip racing.

Theyve never really been properly done. At least not to my knowledge. But if you look 9n the net and see actual 1v1 drift races around a track lately then this should at least interest you. I'm down to give it a go especially if it has wheel support. Also bet it would be a blast in vr

Same here. Drifting is one of those things that just doesn't translate well to gaming. It's fun IRL but boring AF with the simplified inputs of a game system. I imagine it could be cool with a ridiculously high end steering wheel and pedals, but hardly anyone has that. And even then the driving model would have to be insanely good.

Allways hated drifting , could not cut it in the rally world it maybe the only form of motorsport i dont like lol.

You can already drift in Gran Turismo, just need to configure the car to do it easier. However, it is slower and unnecessary in a race.

Drifting is more about style than racing. Which is why it's kinda silly for a video game.
