Beach Buggy Racing 2 is a new racing game for the iOS and Android platforms. It’s much like Mario Kart in that you can pick from a number of racers and buggies, each with different stats, and you can pick up items and power-ups to use as boosts and weapons against other racers. Your goal, of course, is to win the race. You can unlock all sorts of goodies and upgrade your power-ups for even bigger advantages.
Neil writes: "When Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure launched on PC and console back in March of 2021, it was already a bit of a madcap playthrough. A bit quirky, a bit weird, but tons of fun, Vector Unit very nearly nailed what a great kart racer should be. Since that time though they've continued to push it to the public, first with the introduction of the Hot Wheels Booster Pack, and now with the rather eccentric Oddball Car Pack."
Beach Buggy Racing 2 is back with a pretty sizeable Hot Wheels DLC. Is it the greatest thing since cherry flavoured Pepsi? It might just be.
Neil writes: "There is already an absolute ton of racing content to be found in Vector Unit's Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure, and honestly, what is found within is extremely enjoyable to take in. Now though we see the game expand to new horizons, with an expansion that merges in the Hot Wheels world."
