please tell me what Smash 4 has that Smash Ultimate is lacking..

Let"s see...
#1 A platforming-based story mode, with enemies to defeat and stages to explore, that could have been put in >alongside< WoL. [Or maybe even combined with it; explore a small stage in some nodes, do a straight battle in others.]
#2 The return of Smash Run mode, with online support.
#3 A stage builder.
Other than that though, it's an improvement in every way, basically.

@wonderfulmonkeyman

I’m pretty sure Smash 4 didn’t have a platforming adventure mode. That was Brawl with Subspace Emissary.

Spirits mode is very addicting. It one of those just one more match type of deals and then next thing you know an hour or more has passed. I think it's a mixture of being fun added with the fact you are constantly unlocking spirits, gear and earning the games currency.

Kribwalker2334d ago

the whole game has that one more match attitude. I was playing with my kid last night and we played about 2hrs more then the one last match we said 💁‍♂️

Wish there was at least one Final Fantasy Spirit within the game

It's awesome. World of light is really cleverly designed. You'll need to go get a spirit to help you defeat a certain enemy. The spirit board is great but that &_£#ing spinning circle needs to kill it's self. Seriously no point in it being in the game, just makes it annoying.

Spirit battles are very addicting and fun.
