Not sure I agree. Considering the Wildlands cameo, I'd bet that Sam is coming back along with Michael Ironside. I believe he was sick during Blacklist's production.
Lol it’s so true, instead of making a new ip like horizon zero dawn publishers would rather just shoehorn women in and attack fans when they complain. Mind you playing as a woman in assassins creed makes sense because of the way the story works.
Hopefully not. It makes sense for TR and God Of War but not Splinter Cell. The Splinter Cell games take place in multiple locations around the world. You couldn't really cramp all of that into a single map without compromising the game's quality.
Dammit, so many great sounding games have been cancelled just so we can have more micro transactions. It might have worked for a little while, but these companies are losing a large portion of their consumer base. Truth is big publishers need balance, the audience is varied so you need to vary your games! For example this year, if ea released that awesome looking single player Star Wars game they wouldn’t be taking such a hit from battlefield under performing! Not to mention single player games might make less, but they are cheaper, less risky and faster to make.
They are less risky but I'm not sure about them being cheaper or faster to make. I agree that AAA publishers need to make more single-player games though. Another issue for publishers is that single-player gamers have higher standards. For me, AC: Odyssey's gameplay-affecting micro-transactions are bullshit so I'd rather spend my money elsewhere.
Dying for a new splinter cell or syphon filter. There isnt one good stealth/espionage game besides MSGV, and that came out a while ago. Unless i missed something lol
Would be fun as an idea but not so good now with Gen Z demanding pay to win plus forced Internet connections it would just end up being an almost no single player, mass multiplayer mess.
I stopped playing Blacklist when I hit one of those "Optional" Horde Mode levels. Between that, other aspects and the oddity in which Sam had somehow found the fountain of youth, It all just felt so contrived.
Fun series
Looks good
"How about guys...and get this...we make an OPEN WORLD Splinter Cell game?"
"With Towers?"
"Yes Steve, with towers"
*everyone claps*
god i would love a splinter cell chaos theory game on ps4,even a remake/remaster
The way Ubisoft was going lately, I'm surprised it didn't include plans for a "samantha" fisher
