Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek – Switch Review TBG

TBG writes -If you played the original game, which is actually the sequel, then you will know that this sequel, actually the prequel, is a load of old shit. As I assume the first one was. Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek (spelt incorrectly) is a follow-up, prequel, whatever the hell you want to call it – look it doesn’t really matter, the game is arse, we know that.

Tbh, terrible review. Moaning about how ‘bad’ the original game is yet you state you never even played it. Then saying you played this game for 5 minutes. If the game is broke then yeah, it needs to get fixed, but producing a click bait article won’t make that happen now, will it?

ZeekQuattro2316d ago

0 out of 10? Someone is desperate for clicks. Trying to get money for some last minute Christmas gifts I guess. Lol

DaDrunkenJester2316d ago

Why the "(spelt incorrectly)"? Its spelled correctly.

Cikatriz_ESP2316d ago (Edited 2316d ago )

I imagine he’s an elitist speaker of British English. Regardless of nationality, it should have been taken as a sign that what came after would be pretentious.

ChrisW2316d ago

Elitist speaker of BE, but then he ends his article with "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Christmas."

LOL! The author of the article is a joke! He can't even decide on what form of English to use

ChrisW2316d ago (Edited 2316d ago )

"Spelt" is one of the past tense and past participles of "spell" -- just like "dream - dreamt" and "learn - learnt." The U.S. primarily uses "spelled," "dreamed," and "learned." Outside of the US many variants of the English language use them interchangeably, if not predominately with a "t" instead of "ed."

EDIT: The purpose of putting the title "Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek" and then "(spelt incorrectly)" is because the British spell "neighbor" as "neighbour." Just like they spell "color" as "colour." Obviously this quasi-journalist on TBG needs to become more knowledgeable with the English language he wishes to get anywhere in journalism.

Cikatriz_ESP2316d ago

He’s asking what part of the title was misspelled in the first place.

Cikatriz_ESP2316d ago

Yeah, like I said earlier, it’s the kind of thing that makes you want to write off the rest of the article without even reading it first. Not a great way to establish credibility before giving your opinion on something.

Hello Neighbor: Hide & Seek PS4 Review - Yawn Found Me Again | Thumb Culture

"Having played both games I did feel that Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek felt that it would have been better suited as a DLC add-on rather than a stand-alone game, especially given the price they want for it. If you love puzzle solving or are a die-hard fan of the series then give it a whirl, but for me I found it a little repetitive and too brain taxing to enjoy!" Jas @ Thumb Culture
