The Last of Us 2 is going to be insane.

The graphics and gameplay sure. Too bad they've turned Ellie into an object to force agendas down your throat. That kiss was just pure cringe. Nothing like the dlc in the first game. So happy it will get low user scores and Yongyea, Jimstirling will shit on it.

I don't mind Ellie's direction and i thought the entie E3 trailer was brilliantly put together. Her relationship and loving side was beautifully juxtaposed with her violent revenge fuelled side and the trailer displayed that wonderfully. Ellie is a mature character with layers and the entire scene with the dancing and kiss was tastefully done. That entire trailer was art.

Then you have low standards. That was gross. Kissing some random girl that said she just broke up with the guy they just stalked to. That was gross. So happy the gaming industry isn't liek the movie industry. Even critics won't be afraid to criticise the game for bad writing.

Tunic looks good. It feels Zelda-y the way Oceanhorn did, but much better. I hope it comes to PS4 too.

Tunic does little for me. It's Oceanhorn with a fox. If that's enough for you then so be it, but the creativity is incredibly low. Tunic basically rips the outfit, sword, shield, and shield crest straight from Zelda. I get being inspired by a game, but put your own stamp on it. Swapping Link for a fox doesn't cut it. At least a game like Stories The Path of Destinies had a very unique gameplay loop. I honestly was shocked Tunic got stage time at E3. I remember people were excited about Below, until it released. I get that MS is attempting to promote some sort of indie initiative, but games like Below and Tunic aren't it. Ashen does however look impressive with a style all its own.

I am also excited for Concrete Genie and a bunch of PSVR games.

Concrete Genie appears to be a wonderfully creative game with a beautiful art style. It's exciting to see Pixel Opus grow from Entwined to this.
