This should not be happening. I've just read Cd projeck red is stopping selling games in Russia belerus. I don't see how punishing the average Joe who hasn't made the decision n for war makes a difference

Can we please not post any threads like this,

1nsomniac777d ago (Edited 777d ago )

That’s the whole point, whether people care to admit it or not. There is a clear push for the western media to get involved in sanctions. Which as we’re all well aware in no way whatsoever effects the relevant people or directed at those involved but instead at ordinary civies.

It’s to further destabilise civilian life within Russia creating further tension and pressure. All part of the modern day propaganda war machine. You notice there was none of this when America and the UK were bombing countries, stating the same reasons as Russia is doing now. I suppose one thing Putin has nailed is showing us all what double standards we have.

Father__Merrin777d ago (Edited 777d ago )

I think it's to do with something else. The backlash has been the most overkill I've ever known including banning of Russian blue cats!!!

It's been well known for a while there's dodgy bio labs all over Ukraine and even ppl like Biden was involved in it before the USA elections especially his son.

Now the map of the alleged bio labs that western elites are tied up in. When you overlay the initial Russian strikes it appears Putin has taken all these out from the get go. Fascinating if true

The globalists elite must be set to loose billions hence such a big backlash. I think Putin took these out deliberately.

Overall horrible for everyone involved 😔

PS check out the overkill in the press to downplay the bio labs opinion passing it off as false.

Bladesfist776d ago

So from Father Merrins comments across multiple Ukraine posts here I've learned we've got bio labs, nazis in control of a country led by a Jewish man, the whole thing was funded by Biden and it's a project of the globalist elite. Anything else you want to add to that? I'm sure 5G, Bill Gates and chemtrails have got to be involved too!

ChubbyBlade777d ago

It punishes their economy. If the citizens can’t participate in buying and selling, the government suffers as a result.

1nsomniac777d ago

I’m sure it’ll really put a dent in the pockets of those in control….

Rimeskeem777d ago (Edited 777d ago )

@1nsomniac

It has actually costed the oligarchy 10s of billions so far.

@1nsomniac

Ermm, countries around the world have frozen 60% of Russia's central bank reserves. Thats bound to make paying for a long drawn out war very difficult while also trying to counter the economic war (sanctions) that is being waged against them.

Sure it sucks that regular people will get caught in the middle but it will be putting a lot of pressure on the government too.

Tacoboto777d ago

Yeah, it really sucks for the Russians that they're losing access to some games. That's the opinion we should be projecting...

... As we type from our phones/computers, sitting in our homes/offices, NOT being invaded/attacked/killed by Russians!

Christopher777d ago

***I don't see how punishing the average Joe who hasn't made the decision n for war makes a difference***

Economic issues solve wars faster than bombs. That's why we live in a world of sanctions and whatnot.

This is art. Inane art, but art nonetheless.

WelkinCole777d ago

People are dying in Ukraine for a completely unjustifed invasion. Its more important to take actions in hope of stopping that than some Russian folks inconvenience.

"How are you better than Hitler?"

Probably the not killing or invading other countries.

Crows90777d ago

Killing? All countries are guilty.
Invading? All cultures are guilty.

Just saying.

Hitler's bug thing wasn't the killing or invading but the ideology. His ideology of a superior race, culture and way if thinking.

Same ideology infesting mainstream media. Only one type of thinking allowed. Everything else is evil and must be blocked and deplatformed.

Rimeskeem777d ago

Hitler murdered millions and invaded nearly all of Europe. Was it based in ideology? yes. If you actually think maintstream media is similar to Hitler you need to read a history book, or seven. I can't think of a time where mainstream media has started a world war. Also, what the hell is mainstream media? Fox? CNN? NYT? NPR?

None of those are the same way of thinking.

XbladeTeddy777d ago

"Hitler's bug thing wasn't the killing or invading but the ideology".

No, the big thing about Hitler was his killing and invading.

Christopher777d ago

Last I checked, this developer isn't a country and hasn't done any of that. So, my answer still stands since the question was aimed at the developer and not a government.

BongSmack776d ago

Killing and invading were Hitler's thing. Just because he was obsessed with a master race doesn't mean he didn't want to conquer the world.

The Best Dungeon Crawlers Not Named Diablo

From Xfire: "The words "dungeon crawler" are defined as a genre of role-playing games wherein "heroes navigate a labyrinth environment, battling various monsters, avoiding traps, solving puzzles, and looting any treasure they may find."

Now, if you, just like every other gamer, thought immediately of any of the Diablo games when you read that, you're probably not alone.

The thing is, the Diablo franchise has been synonymous with dungeon crawlers since 1997. But while the Diablo titles have long been considered the most popular dungeon crawlers, they're far from the only ones that are worth playing."

Why are free play days stuck behind paywalls? Seems odd to limit the audience that could demo the game & might ultimately buy it - the whole point of these free play events.
