UL Benchmarks has confirmed that the 3DMark Port Royal real-time ray tracing benchmark will release on January 8th.
NVIDIA has released a brand new driver for its graphics cards. According to the release notes, the NVIDIA GeForce 418.81 WHQL driver is described as a reference driver that can be installed on supported NVIDIA notebook GPUs and adds support for DLSS in 3DMark Port Royal.
3DMark Port Royal is described as the world’s first dedicated real-time ray tracing benchmark for gamers and players will be able to use Port Royal to test and compare the real-time ray tracing performance of any graphics card that supports Microsoft DirectX Raytracing.
