This must have been what Nightdive Studios hinted me about in my interview with them:

The first "Blood" game is pure FPS gold imo.

Who disagree to this?! dear God 🤦🏻‍♂️

I really enjoyed the second game as well, Blood 2 was one of my favorites back in the day.

Atari seems like they keep adding more projects to their plate but never deliver, or when they do, it falls flat. I mean just look at the Atari smartwatch that they cancelled yet are not refunding a single person who backed their campaign.

I don't like that Atari handles this project, because it's just like you said. So I have no idea why Nightdive Studios picked Atari...

Quick search gave me this: "Monolith sold the publishing rights, but not the IP for Blood and its sequel to GT Interactive. GTI was later acquired by Infogrames, which has since been renamed to Atari."

Probably why?

How about a real remake of this gem!
The " Bloody" in my name is directly related to the love I had for this game back in 1997
my complete nick is actually Pete (1st name) Bloody (the game blood) Onion (Chop chop master onion) the Happyskull ( for the life leech weapon in Blood because it's smiling).

That's what I really wanted, but nope -_- Hehe, nice ;)

Atari has been a joke as of the last few years though. Releasing shovelware, like the latest Alone in the Dark. Nightdive does good work though.

Not to mention projects that has been thrown out of the window before the said projects even got released...
