Skyward Sword was recently teased to have a remake, but would that really be the best thing for the Zelda franchise? Where do we draw the line?
Majora’s Mask was the last Zelda game they remade. Idk what other Zelda title they could remake at this point since most of the Zelda titles on post N64 hardware got remastered
Why are you limiting them to post N64 stuff?
The Zelda titles on later consoles have only been remastered
how many times have they released Ocarina of Time? EXACTLY
Directed at the author, A Link Between Worlds was not a remake to A Link To The Past it was a sequel. The only Zelda titles to get full remakes were OoT and Majora's Mask. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker were hd remasters. The other titles only received ports and releases. There's a huge difference between porting a game, remaking it or doing a hd remaster.
Yes it is a sequel. How can the author missed that?
Honestly, I don't mind I want younger gamers to get a chance to experience the franchise.
I think it's a great idea. There was a lot of people who never got around to playing it, myself included, because of the release window the first time around :)
Yes. Giving people more ways and better ways to experience a game is NEVER a bad thing.
Yes I want more games on Switch. Old games, new games, more games. I think the popularity is really grating on some people. Every new game must hurt them like they got stabbed in the chest.
Easy cash, so ya, they will keep doing the same games all there life, since fans pay for them at full price, there are more then 170 games with Mario, 30 Zelda games, a fucking ton of Pokemon, and many more, that's what Nintendo fans really want, more and more of the same.
Somebody hasn't played too many of those said games.
Really now? Btw *their life So you want to explain how Breath of the Wild is the same as Wind Waker and Skyward Sword. Are what about Odyssey, Sunshine and Galaxy.
Same char, same controls, another kids story, same cartoony look, those games always have 80% to 90% the same fell they had before.
Thanks for proving my point. Breath of the Wild doesn't play like Zelda before it, same goes for Skyward Sword. There was nothing "kiddy" about Majora's Mask despite it's art style. Sunshine plays nothing like the other Mario titles I mentioned. Sure as hell doesn't play like any if the rpg titles. As for characters the franchise is called Mario for a reason. In most of the Zelda titles you're not using the same Link. Going by your logic Sony and their developers are guilty of the same thing.
Hahahahahahaha, not the same!!! Link is a bush wacker in all games, getting more boring with every install, what a joke, Zelda's from N64 are the absolute worst Zelda's I ever played along side the Twilight Princess from GameCube, and the last 3 Zelda game look like kid games, cartoony as hell, Mario Sunshine is probably the worst 3D Mario game ever, the pathetic water gimmick just sucked, and yes it had a lot of similarities with Mario 64 like I said. https://www.youtube.com/wat... You don't need to be shocked because someone that owns the games is trashing them, is just the truth, Nintendo as been pathetic for generations, with the same IP's, how many versions of Melee, Super Mario, Mario Tennis / Basket / Soccer / wtf, Kirby, Zelda, Metroid, Donkey, Mario Kart, and so on, every gen is the same games all over again. The Switch as mostly all Nintendo Games from the Wii U, will have a bunch more from the Wii, GameBoy, and more of the same, its a fucking retro gaming machine that you pay top € for it and it need a fucking ton of accessories, many of the "new games" they get are games from PS3 and X360 from 10 years ago. And yes the same logic goes for Sony drama adventure games, and all Gears of War games play the same just like all Uncharted games play the same, just some refinements here and there.
Your comments say much more about your lack of knowledge and gamer history than they do about Nintendo or their fans. What is the actual point of trolling Nintendo articles if you hate them so much? If that is the point, then, I need to learn not to feed the troll as they are never satisfied.
How dare you bring logic into this conversation sir!
Metroid Prime trilogy for Switch is beeing the talk of the internet, so yup, they keep doing the same shit all over again, and they happly do it because their blind fans keep paying for the same games all over again, don't need to be mad, just stop supporting this shit atitude. You are the one with the lack of knowledge and gamer history since I have played all Nintendo System since the NES, and still owned then in my collection.
These types of articles always come from a point of view of an experienced gamer that may have played these games before and is looking for new experiences. New gamers enter the market daily and those gamers would rather play something more modern. Look at it from a business perspective and remasters are a solid investment. If they don't sell, then I suppose the line is drawn. I would much rather play a remaster of a game I haven't played then the old version on the eshop/virtual console.
