Luminous Productions appoints Final Fantasy XV lead programmer Takeshi Aramaki as studio head

Square Enix has appointed Takesi Aramaki as the new studio head of Luminous Productions following Hajime Tabata’s departure, the company announced.

I feel like Final Fantasy xv was well made, but the actual game design was horrible.

Nope horrible story-telling and writing, bland boring side characters with no backstory, mindless gameplay (hold down circle) and an empty, sparse open world etc. and the list goes on.

Its mediocre at best for me, it's possible to find some fun in it though.

I do think it had a lot of potential, I liked the premise.

Story telling in writing is almost always bad in games, but the gameplay is what was really flat. How are boss battles any fun if you still just mostly hold down a button?
