Fallout 76, where do I start? I guess I can start by saying it’s been a hard job pulling myself away from the game to write this review. But before I get into the review I do want to address some issues I’ve seen other people level at the game.

Can you imagine, this score is little bit less, same or even better then Bloodborne, God of War, Nier Automata, Yakuza, Forza Horizon, Horizon, Spider Man and other top quality games, this score is so offensive for gaming in general, you have to be out of the mind to give this game this score and call yourself a gamer or revierwer. It is offensive to all gamers and reviewers.

Exactly. Any sites I find giving ridiculously dishonest reviews like this I immediately remove from my OpenCritic account. Even if they are being honest, which I seriously doubt, if they like this garbage, I don't want their opinion.

Everyone has different tastes in gaming, so saying this score is offensive just proves you're being one sided. The games you mentioned are of a different category than what Fallout 76 is, and good in their own merits. Outside mechanical issues (bugs and glitches) Fallout 76 is a good experience. Can it be better? Yes, and it needs more work to be a positive experience. Is it a bad game? No, it's not. If you also read the review you will see why the score is a 4.6/5.

Perhaps the score is a bit too high, but it's just one score out of about a hundred "accurate" scores. Since the game is broken, it should not be more than an 8 I would say, but then again, not everyone experience s the breakage.

4.6 out of 5 is a 9.2 out of 10, this game isn't in a stable enough state to be a 9 out of 10. So it's a disingenuous score no matter how you look at it.

Which game did he play? Are you kidding me? I adore Bethesda and the Fallout IP and I am utterly disappointed in almost every regard, to the point that I’m convinced this release is so out of character that something must have happened at Bethesda to allow such a product to release.

Maybe this is and example of the reverse review to get hits.

There's no world where this game is a 9+, just like it's ridiculous to say it's a 3. It's clearly a mediocre game. And I get that opinions are subjective, but there is a reasonable range in any given case.

I think you need to strive for objectivity in your reviews. I don’t think a review score should be based on whether you liked or didn’t like a game. There’s very real issues with this game that factually make it a very poorly constructed game regardless of “your” fun factor.

I’m so sick of hearing a review is an opinion because while an opinion is definitely in a review the point of a game review is to critique elements to inform a potential buyer. You giving it a high score because of your opinion does a disservice to someone trusting that score and making a purchase only to turn around and wreck a Gamestop because they can’t get their money back.
