Hey man, feel free to have your own opinion. But regardless of what you think there are literally millions upon millions of other people that think the exact opposite. That Fortnite is very creative and very fun and absolutely does not suck. So unfortunately for you it will have a place in gaming culture for many years to come and in fact may not be bested in popularity for decades to come. I'm sorry that makes you upset because you have a different opinion with little substance to it, lol.
Fortnite doesn't represent anything new to me. It's the Saturday morning cartoon of gaming. It's there, a lot of people consume it, but there are less well known games that will actually change the way we interact with these worlds and systems. It doesn't need to be a pariah, just don't put it on a pedestal either.
Battle Royale in general is seriously lacking in originality. I think what's disappointing the most about Fortnite is Epics focus on its BR mode rather than its PVE mode which was what people were interested in the most when it was announced years back. could've been something different and instead its just a fad
Fortnite is today's Minecraft. Give it time to ride its highs but it will eventually fade out.
