Dont understand the reason why developers didnt gave a performance mode on Xbox one X and PS4 Pro even if it had to lower resolution to 1080p,not picking this technical POS until they fix the performance and even then it will be when it reach bargin bin price.Cant stand and support crappy rushed games!Has it stands this game will sell like crap and thats the publisher and developers fault by releasing a poor performance game on consoles.

I don’t understand why games come out with huge performance issues on fixed hardware, i suppose console players just sort of put up with it for years though. With websites like digital foundry around people can finally see what I’ve seen for years, I just couldn’t prove it since you can’t just run msi afterburner on ps4/Xbox one or even ps3/360.
Some people are less sensitive to frame pacing issues or low framerate, but personally I don’t even see how games like goldeneye (on original hardware) are playable.

"the same cannot be said about the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions, especially on Sony’s machine." - Gaming Bolt showing their Xbox bias once again by shoving that in there. They didn't perform any factual tests, all they did was play the three versions in different areas and make a judgement based on their own opinion. No frametime graphs, no framerate analysis', no in-depth graphical comparisons - nothing.

Fact is, both consoles perform almost identical with the major drops coming when you change your skills/hair and when you jump out of water and the hair re-ignites. This happens on all console versions. However, they claim it's "unplayable" on the PS4, which is BS. I got it for review, spent over 40 hours in it and completed it on the hardest difficulty with no issues other than a few framerate issues outside of combat sections.

Let's see if DF cover it and actually offer factual insight rather than opinionated pointless 'news'.

Well, what are your thoughts on the game? I won’t buy it for more than $30 but is it worth that?

I really enjoyed it - we gave it an 8.5/10 on the PS4. It's harder than previous games due to it adopting the 'dark souls-like' combat, so it's slower and more precise with more weight and thought behind it, rather than heading in and bashing all the buttons and hoping for the best!

The frame drops were apparent, but only in a few areas on my play-through. Upon completing it, it's started taking longer to load in new areas, which is strange but also something that only occurred upon completing the game - I also never got the issues with missing audio or missing items which some people said happened to them.

Overall though, I really enjoyed the game. Once you get used to the combat and you upgrade your gear, it's a decent game. It's like Vampyr - I loved that game but a lot of people hated the combat - it's pretty much the same combat.

It's Been 13 Years Since The Cliffhanger, When's The Darksiders Finale Coming?

Now that all of Darksiders' horsemen have been explored, it's about time we get the epic team-up the first game left us hanging for.

Embracer went on a massive studio buying spree in hopes one deal with saudis would go through and it didn’t.
Now they are shutting down studios and looking for cash after spending most of it on acquisitions.
I wouldn’t get my hopes up for anything that Embracer owns.
They need to get out of this problem they made for themselves but it may never happen. They f’d up big time.
Darksiders has little hope at this moment

Darksiders III for Nintendo Switch Review (The Gamers Lounge)

Darksiders III on Nintendo Switch is a mostly well-done port that is likely to take a lot of people by surprise given its huge graphical upgrade over its previous generation predecessors. While the game itself is far from perfect, it should be commended that even with a few downgrades here and there, the overall integrity of the game remains intact and officially completes the entire Darksiders series being available on Nintendo Switch, which lends itself nicely to handheld play despite a AAA production that's as epic and grandiose as the series has ever been.

Darksiders III Nintendo Switch OLED Review - The Wrath of Fury I The Koalition

Adam Vale of The Koalition writes: When thinking about some of my favorite hack & slash adventure games of last-gen, Darksiders and Darksiders II pop up in my head. The story was unique, and the combat was satisfying with creative level design. For whatever reason, I never picked up Darksiders III. So here we are in 2021 and Darksiders III has been ported to my preferred portable gaming device. This is why I held off on reviewing this game until my Nintendo Switch OLED arrived. At least 90% of my gaming on the Switch is in handheld mode and I wanted to experience this horrid creature-infested world on the new vibrant OLED screen.

Despite the issues with the game itself, Darksiders III still looks great on the Nintendo switch OLED model.
