The SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is a huge amount of fun, especially for those looking for a fix of nostalgia, though more variety would've been appreciated. SNK 40th Anniversary Collection is fantastic to someone who grew up on games similar to those included, if not the games actually available. Overall variability comes down to what sort of shoot-em-up you prefer. SNK has a very diverse history,, but the final selection of titles doesn't really showcase much of their versatility from days gone by.

Did they fix the seemingly random resolution drops? I played it a while after release and it would scale the up and down at seemly pointless times, like when they were talking or something. It was really jarring.
That was really my only issue with the port.
