A friendly reminder that shills like Andrea Renee need to stop regurgitating the "They need micro-transactions to feed the developers' families, guys!!!" bullshit. We get it - you want to host EA Play 2019.

Since there's no edit function after 15 min, I'm just replying to myself. I had extra thoughts ....

Honestly, I'm being a slight bit hyperbolic here but sometimes it just seems like gaming "journalists" see gamers' complaints (no matter the context) en masse as being the equivalent of Miss Trunchbull (gamers) chasing and trying to murder Matilda, just a poor multi-billion dollar corporation trying to survive.

Who cares about punitive micro-transactions and generally poor practices? None of this matters because they've drank and had dinner with developers, voice actors and PR managers who work at these companies. They've compromised themselves to ensure access (IGN First, Game Informer, etc) just as the mainstream press to varying degrees refuses to question the status quo. We should just appreciate the "enhanced consumer choices" and stop being so entitled (projection on their part). AngryJoe has casually asked tougher questions, that were relevant and useful consumers, than any gaming "journalist" working in the industry. That's just sad.

What are you talking about, of course games need microtransactions, if they don't their executives might have to fly peasant class, we can't have that now can we /s

Just because you suck at it, or have no interest in it, doesn't make it a bad game.
