We have just picked up the achievement list for Sunset Overdrive on Windows 10. There are 80 achievements worth a total of 1,000 Gamerscore, none of which are secret.
Another Xbox exclusive gone. Good news for PC gamers though.
Gone? Where did it go? Is it no longer playable on Xbox One? Oh noes!
You didn't know? When a game goes to another platform it means you can never play it again on the console it first appeared on. This is only applies to Xbox though. Games like Neir, Nioh and similar are exempt from this way of thinking.
@gangsta_red OP meant in the context that it's no longer an exclusive game, not that it's unplayable on its original system. Gone from the list of Xbox exclusives.
And how does that take away from the experiences of Xbox One owners?
@Team_Litt No one is implying that it affects their experience in any way shape or form. @Gangsta_red Nice deflection. But Playstation simply has far more exclusives, so if one or five go multiplatform, it's not a huge deal. But because this was a launch xbox one exclusive, plastered across every major publication, AND Insomniac's first game as an exclusive on a system other than Sony, it was a huge deal. So, logically, because the OP platform didn't do it any favors, it now wants to find a larger audience. It's a win for gamers as a whole. But it's no longer an "exclusive", which is exactly what DarkVoyager was saying. I don't quite understand why/how his opinion could be construed as something negative. It's a damned fact. And yes, we still live in an age where exclusives matter, and content widely available, while great for the larger gaming community, is at the detriment of people who purchased a console just to be in "the club." So... To put it another way, Xbox One is sort of like that one museum that couldn't get people in their doors, so they drop the price or make it free in order to spur traffic. Some may be irked by the idea that the "everyman" can get in the door, but the community at large enjoy the benefits provided by the change.
@Team_Litt It doesn't detract the value of the system for existing owners, it detracts the value of the system for potential buyers. As someone who owns pretty much everything, Sunset was one of the few arguments to justify purchasing an Xbox. With its release on PC I now have one less reason to buy a system that I already had very little reason to buy. Although this saves me money, I think it would be in Microsoft's best interest to secure games that are for now and forever, only available on their system.
FilthyWeeb - I think the sarcasm bypassed you.
What new/potential Xbox One buyer would base their purchase on a launch title 5 years after it released? That's dumb!

I hope it gets x enhanced
Please make Sunset Overdrive 2!!!
It was on Xbox since 2014. For the past 4 years this game didn't help Xbox. Porting it to pc won't make an already sinking ship sink more. In fact this might help the game itself in creating larger fanbase. So overall it's good for the game and hey the extra sales might convince Microsoft to make a sequel so who knows..
Sinking ship? 40mils userbase and counting and you call that sinking ship? How do you describe the Vita and the Wii U then?
@kingnoctis 40 mil and counting...and where did you get that because as far as I know Microsoft has been mum about sales for a very long time. As for how do I call wiiu and vita...well..already sunk?
@riibhu Xbox had 57 million active Live subscribers 4 months ago. Whilst they are across multiple devices I think we can safely assume that the xbox is not a sinking ship lol.
It still exclusive on console to the X1.
AnOtHeR eXcLuSiVe gOnEe
To be fair, that is true.
Gonna buy this
It was a pretty good game... could have been better.
Can't every game?
Finally. Day 1 for me. Been wanting to play this since it came out.
It was really really good. I just rented it, sadly, but I'll pick it up again on PC
Is it Windows Store only?
Sunset Overdrive was recently leaked for PC through ESRB, then later spotted on Steam Database, and now it has been confirmed for Windows 10 as well.
Good because at least on steam they'll have a bigger community to buy this great game.
A 4k update for the X would be nice.
I’m betting we get an X patch announcement at XO. It would (probably) be an easier fix than a PC version and “soften the blow” that it goes to PC. I don’t really care it’s going to pc, but if I can get 4K without rebuying it then I’m happy. I played it at launch and even tried streaming it to my pc through Xbox App later but it’s resolution (belive one of the first 900p One Games) didn’t look that great on my 1440 monitor and just okay on my new 4k tv (sitting distance differences with res makes an impact for me) when I thought to replay it more recently. I want a high res version as I love clean motion visuals (still image at 1080 vs 4k isn’t a big deal to me, while playing is).
Sweet, can't wait to get this on PC, being that it was pretty much the only Xbox one exclusive i was interested in, i really didn't want to spend a couple hundred just to play one game
Well, now theres 1 more reason not to invest in the xbone... as if there wasnt enough reasons already. I would have LOVED to have seen a Sunset Overdrive 2, but seeing as Insomniac are most likely making Marvel exclusive Sony games for the forseeable future that will prob not happen. Sunset Overdrive, Ori, and Cuphead are among the best games on the platform. Its too bad all of these are 3rd partys that are now ALL playable on PC. Sings... And another bites the dust ahhh another one bites the dust...
You start with "now theres 1 more reason not to invest in the xbone..." and then you say "Its too bad all of these are 3rd partys that are now ALL playable on PC". Do you even have a gaming PC?
And the only reason left for me get an XB1 is gone.
.... a four year old game is your only reason? And.... you've waited this long? Ooooooooohkay.
I know, right? The whole comment section is saying this. It's bullshit. If they didn't have an Xbox One already, Sunset Overdrive was not going to be the reason they buy one now. Even if it goes to PC, most still won't buy it.
Yup sure was. Was not gonna buy a console for one game. Is that a problem?
I recommend Xbox owners to get this game.
I got it years ago when it was free on Games with Gold. Never heard of it before, didn't know who made it. Looked like a low budget, nothing game. It was quite fun but I only played it for a few hours and never went back.
Insomniac made it, a pretty big developer I would say.
Best plain fun superpower sandbox game since Saints Row 4. This is the one Crackdown 3 has to compete against.
