Only the internet infrastructure can save cloud gaming. It has a long way to go before cloud gaming becomes feasible. I’d rather have cloud compute than cloud gaming. At least then you wouldn’t have latency since you’re playing the game locally.
Infrastructure is in place in majority of first/second world countries. Third world... not so much. Then again gaming in third world is the least of their worries. Their priorities are usually food, water and shelter.
No because gamers shit on anything streamed. You saw what happened with PSNow. Great service that worked great but all I heard anywhere was that it's terrible.
