The Red Dead Redemption 2 has the largest map yet rockstar has to offer. It’s safe to assume that there are still many players who haven’t explore the whole Red Dead Redemption 2 map yet. With its spontaneous mechanics that have been reasonably reliable for most, it’s also okay to say there are numerous glitches and bugs that have taken place since the launch. Talking of which, multiple people have reported a glitch that possibly allows them to visit an area from the first Red Dead Redemption game.
The voice actors for Arthur Morgan and Charles Smith have vaguely confirmed a claim by Rob Wiethoff (voice of John Marston) that big news related to the Red Dead franchise will be coming "before Friday."
I hope it's a remake of the 1st game. But it's probably just the PS5 version of Red Dead Redemption 2
I hope a PS5 upgrade launches on the same day as announcement & it costs no more than $10. I already bought the Ultimate Edition once, they got good money from me.
I stopped playing completely 2 years ago until they did 60fps. I really didn't expect it would take this long & I didn't want to start completely over on PC.
My wish is that its optimized for current gen machines, with some sort of story expansion. Undead nightmare 2! My 2nd wish is that it just shadow drops on the day of the announcement!.

It kills me that at this point they still can’t. Like when people complain that The Last of Us has too many Remasters… when they literally have 1 and then a PS5 Remake 🤦♂️

The possibility of a PS5 version for Red Dead Redemption 2 just became a bit more realistic, as the very reliable leaker NateTheHate has claimed in his latest predictions podcast that a next-gen version of the Rockstar open worlder is in the works.
On the podcast, he said: "Those rumours are true. Red Dead Redemption 2 is getting a next-gen update and the game will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year." They go on to say that they were told the new versions will launch "a few months" after Switch 2's release, which is tomorrow. They then speculate a late summer / early fall launch window.
Yup, this game needs that sweet 60fps treatment. Can't wait I hope this is real.

Lol it was even harder at launch. It took me a very long time. Apparently I've heard they made it easier getting the gold medals for missions in some way. But at launch time it was a pain because after you finish the story and go back to play missions to get the medals, you lose all your perks and abilities, your dead eye level and guns everything etc. You just have the stock standard bare minimum with crap guns. If I had have known they were going to do that, I would have made sure I got gold medals when I was playing the story. But I got it in the end. Pretty sure the trophies would auto-pop on a PS5 version
Yes you are right.. you equipment from the main game carried on when you go for gold medals which is always something!
Also the fact you don’t need to get gold on every mission is the big thing.

I sincerely hope we finally get a next gen update to this game. It is long overdue. I'd love to see ray tracing and enhanced lighting get added. Perhaps more npc's or animals, ect.
It looks incomplete could be fake but it's also less graphically impressive than the rest of the rdr2 map and even rdr1 has more detail in the environment like the cliffs
Biggest map? Is that including the original map too because the map you have during the main story is pretty small. It just feels like it's massive because you are extremely slow and it takes forever to go anywhere.
Im disappointed you never go to Mexico in this game, it was a nice contrast in the first RDR.
I managed to get across to mexico by manteca falls, got on to the rock in the middle of the waterfall and nearly died then passed out on moonshine and spawned in mexico. Tried it again going across the other rocks on my horse and once again spawned in mexico.
From there you can go anywhere and where Torquemada was in redemption 1 you can simply climb up out of the boundary and walk all the way to ....spoiler... after falling through the map and dieing then spawing there.
I spent over an hour walking back and eventually made my way to the other side of saint denis lake
Wait a damn minute, so they included the RDR whole map just to have it locked WTF!!! I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO IT 😧
